Arche is a French family-owned company founded in 1968, specializing in highly original designs of women's and men's footwear collections, for more than three generations.

Their shoe collections offer sleek, stylish lines, a comprehensive palette of vibrant colors, soft leather, and breathable soles. All of these features are designed to fit and highlight every personality.

Danas Arche manufactures the vast majority of its models in France, at Château-Renault in the Loire Valley. It is one of the few houses that takes over responsibility for each phase of the process of design, development and production. Part of the production is also located in Croatia.

Workshop in the Loire Valley

From drawing board to production, Arche shoe collections are created at Château-Renault, in a workshop staffed by 70 artisans, all of whom are experts with unique expertise and knowledge that combines craftsmanship with the latest technology.

Design studio

Arche's philosophy is to offer “shoes that fit” in every sense of the word, designed to be an integral part of everyday life, with a style that transcends fashion and fads. There are no star designers here, just a design studio of four experts who are passionate about what they do.

Leather selection

The leathers are individually selected to meet strict standards, guaranteeing refined colors and softness on which Arche's reputation is based. The premium full grain leather comes from leading European suppliers, all of whom are committed to sustainable and environmentally responsible development.

120 steps of handcrafting

The production of Arche shoes requires more than 120 operations, and all of them handmade by craftsmen passionate about their craft. These highly specialized processes, ranging from tailoring the cut and leather to assembling the shoes, enhance the high quality of the leather used.

Exclusive sole production

Arche colorful soles are made of substances of plant origin obtained from the milk of the hevea tree. More than fifty operations with hand tools are required to produce these soles, which offer unparalleled comfort thanks to their micro-air cushion structure.
